​In this video community leader Dr. Ali Ar Rasheed discusses the power Kujichagulia, the second principle of Kwanzaa; self-determination and the importance of cultivating this principle in the age of COVID-19 where the future of work, health, finances and support is uncertain. Kujichagulia takes a holistic approach in helping individuals consider what is best for their community as opposed to just themselves,  how they can celebrate their culture and independently use their  resources to “self-determine” their future.
